I asked myself an annoying but important question: if I kept living my life exactly the way I was, week after week, would it actually end up taking me where I wanted to be? The answer was a pretty lacklustre “probably not”.

That’s when I decided to quit my job and spend time doing things I actually enjoy. Part of that has always been helping people – it’s not exactly the dramatic, life-saving type of help, but smaller ways that make someone’s day a easier, maybe a bit lighter. That feels better than making money for the big corporations I used to work for.
